Our Story

El Portal Andaluz

El Portal Andaluz is a horse farm located in Miami, South Florida about 45 minutes away from Miami International Airport. Our horses have become professional models that we rent for photography and videography. We specialize in horse rentals for Quinceañera, Maternity, Engagement, Family and Kids photography. Our main supermodels are our stallions, which are purebred Spanish horses also known as (Andalusian). This breed is known for their ability to learn, beauty, and wonderful temperament. In Spanish Andalusian is written (Andaluz) hence why our name is El Portal Andaluz. But it also has a deeper meaning for us. In Spanish Andaluz sounds like “ Anda a La Luz” meaning “head to the light”. I feel like our faith and love for our horses has kept us going since 2014. After many challenging times trying to strive in the equestrian industry we quickly learned that Miami had a niche market for horse sells and services.

After exploring multiple options we came across the opportunity to offer the service to rent our horse for a photo shoot, which quickly became desirable and requested by many clients. Now we are known among many South Florida photographers and venues for our professional horse rental services. What makes us unique is that we have a variety of horses to choose from. Our Andalusian horses are our most popular choice for photography but we also offer other breeds and miniature horses for children photography and events. The most requested horses have long mails and tails. They are trained to lie down on the ground so clients can take pictures sitting or laying on them. We feel blessed to have made it this far and grateful for all the clients who have chosen our horses for their photo shoot or events. Seeing our client’s photographs and videos brings us joy that they chose these magnificent animals to be a part of their special occasion capturing memories that will last forever.

Meet Our Dedicated Team Members.

A wonderful serenity has taken possession of my entire soul, like these sweet mornings of spring which I enjoy with my whole heart. I am alone, and feel the charm of existence in this spot, which was created for the bliss of souls like mine. I am so happy, my dear friend, so absorbed in the exquisite sense of mere tranquil existence, that I neglect my talents. I should be incapable of drawing a single stroke at the present moment; and yet I feel that I never was a greater.
